The level of indemnity cover you need depends on your specific role, employer requirements, and professional body recommendations. Many employers and professional bodies specify minimum cover levels. Our advisors can help you determine the appropriate level when you request a quote.
MMI 4u typically provides policies on a "claims made" basis, meaning the policy responds to claims first made and notified during the policy period. This differs from "claims occurring" policies which cover incidents that occurred during the policy period, regardless of when the claim is made.
Yes, for Nurses, you can get a quote and buy online, providing immediate coverage and documentation. The entire process can be completed within minutes.
Our Nurses policies start from £272.16 per year and include the option to add additional Commercial Legal Protection. Premiums may vary based on your specific circumstances, level of cover required, and any additional options selected.
We specialise in providing cover for medical professionals who have been declined by other providers, including the MDU. Our online form will ask about your previous insurance history, and we'll work to find suitable cover for your circumstances.
If you have a claims-made policy and are retiring or ceasing practice, you'll typically need run-off cover to protect against claims made after your policy ends. This is especially important for medical professionals, as claims can arise years after treatment. Speak to our advisors for details.
Yes, we offer monthly direct debit payment options for policies over 90, subject to policy terms. This allows you to spread the cost throughout the year.
